| PCB connector 970-LH / 971-LH | ||||||||||||||||||
The PCB connectors of the series 970-LH and 971-LH are designed in a 5 mm pitch and especially suitable for the potting process. The version 970-LH with its angled solder pins is specifically designed for a placement on the edge of printed circuit boards. The wire entry is here parallel to the PCB. The standing version 971-LH, however, can also be placed in the middle of the board. The wire entry is here vertical to the PCB.
By models with wire protection ("DS" version) especially stranded conductors are prevented by damage from the screw. Both PCB connectors are available in 2- to 12-pole design and can be mounted side-by-side without pole loss.
The main applications of this PCB connector are e.g. Lighting technology and equipment. So come this e.g. in standard ceiling lights with fluorescent lights in storage rooms and offices but also for use in street lighting.

At the outlet openings of the solder pins from the housing, care was taken to a high degree of accuracy. Thus the case is well sealed against the penetration of resin into this area.
Additional options and accessories complement and expand the application possibilities: for example, the extended wire introduction increased touch protection and meets the requirements of DIN EN 60335-1:2010-11, section 26.4. Through the long funnel-shaped opening of the wire introduction the wire is better guided into the socket opening, which facilitates installation in hard to reach places.
A large variation option still exists in different position of the bending points in the execution of 970-LH and different pin length in both versions.
