WECO Contact offers a wide variety of products for printed circuit board terminals and connectors.
But we can do more!
Here are just some examples.
In addition to the available catalog products, WECO is specialized to support our customers in their needs with customized solutions.
Thus arose e.g. special pin strips and plug connectors from our Conecta program, which already have a built-in fixed coding. By default, these bars are subsequently encoded with coding elements.
This is a simple dock / slot system at the corresponding pin strips and plug connectors, and each is opposed pronounced. An incorrect connection to other headers and is thus excluded as ensuring a fast and smooth installation.

Prevents incorrect connection
|
Depending on the encoding a single pin strip/plug connector or multiple smaller plug connectors are plugged into a large pin strip. In this case the coding prevents the plug connector offset by one pole to be placed on the pin strip.

2 - and 3-pole strain reliefs
|
Another additional option, especially for plug connectorsare, are the use of strain reliefs. They protect tension-sensitive components and the terminal connection by disconnecting plug connector and pin strip.
The strain reliefs offer mounting options for two cable ties at the 3 pole version and one cable tie 2 pole version. They have grooves on the side in order in the subsequent removal of the connector to allow a non-slip grip.
The attachment of the strain relief occurs in our later work, resulting in a possible variable arrangement.

Apart from our standard colour gray or black for SMarTconn products, we also offer additional colours. This allows in combination with the above-mentioned integrated "fixed" coding, an additional colour coding. Here also facilitates the subsequent assembly by simply assigning the matching colors of male and female connectors.
