| Pin strip 120-M-211-SMD | ||||||||||||||||
WECO complement the series of Conecta 120 by means of the SMD pin strip 120-M-211-SMD in 5 mm pitch in genuine surface mount technology for the direct soldering on the printed circuit board. The new pin strip 120-M-211-SMD with plug-in direction parallel to the PCB is like the well-known 120-M-221-SMD with plug-in direction perpendicularly to the PCB, suitable for all plug connectors of Conecta 120 in screw technology or spring technology.
This angular pin strip is designed in such a way that no "Pick & Place" cap for the automatic assembling with common vacuum pipettes is necessary anymore. This guarantees an optimal process security for all pole numbers. Developed for the equipment technology in particular, this pin strip is extremely suitable to fit into a window cut-out of a metal or plastic housing. Therefore, further areas of application are conceivable in the heating and building technology as well as in control engineering. Pin strips of the series 120-M-SMD are generally available from 2 to 12 poles.

The housing of the pin strips correspond to the requirements of the increased soldering temperatures in the lead free soldering process. L-shape exposed leads confer an extremely reliable retention force to PCB.
