| Pin strip 931-SLR-SMD-1,3 | ||||||||||||||||
By presenting the 931-SLR-SMD-1,3, WECO offers also a pin strip, suitable for the reflow soldering process, in true SMD technology with 3.5 mm pitch. So, WECO reacts to the growing demands for small centre-to-centre spacings of the surface mount devices. Ideal adhesive strenghts on the PCB are guaranteed by the soldering expanses, in nailhead shape, at the end of the pins. Those allow good peel-off forces. This pin strip is the most innovative member of the new WECO 931-family, consisting of two THR (Through Hole Reflow) pin strips and this SMD version. The housing of all these types are made out of high temperature resistant plastic material and exhibit a very high CTI value. A good hot-air circulation is ensured by the exposed soldering joints with the reflow soldering process in the convection heater. For the automatic assembling process all pin strip versions are packed Tape-on-Reel and are equipped with high temperature resistant pick caps, which can comfortably be removed after the soldering process. The plug connector 938-FLDS is the counterpart for both the two THR pin strips and the SMD version. A connection with the pin strip is possible from above as well as from the bottom side.
