With a screwless plug in 3.5 mm pitch WECO extends the plug connector series of 110 by a further connection technology.

The plug connector 110-F in tension spring technology is designed for solid and flexible wires with a cross section up to 1.5 mm² and is available in the lengths of 2 to 12 poles.

This plug can be used together with all standard pin strips of the series 110 in vertical and horizontal version and the THR pin strips of the same series. Special coding with the pin strip to ensure proper mating is possible in the well-known way.

Alternatively there is a version with and without connecting flanges laterally at the housing. In case of increased mechanical requirements the version with connecting flanges offers additionally the possibility of a shock-proof screw connection with all corresponding pin strips 110-M with flanges. Beyond that the screwing flanges at the pin strips can also suit for the assembling purpose at a housing wall.

Due to the screwless connection technique with tension spring this plug is outstanding suitable for all applications under special vibration load. In order to overcome the force of the tension spring, the clamping unit can be opened with a commercial screwdriver with blade width 2 mm.

Single and stranded wires as well as wires equipped with pin cable sockets or crimped ferrules can be used comfortably. After removing the screwdriver the electrical contact is surely made. This kind of the wiring technology offers an easy and reliable connection under cramped installation conditions, is extremely comfortable and helps to saves time as well as costs.
