| Our terminals of the series 158-A and 159-A |
This series was developed particularly for high voltage and strong currents with smallest dimensions.
The clamping space is appropriate for flexible wires up to 10 mm² or for solid or stranded wires up to 16 mm². Connecting a 16mm² wire a current transferability of 76 amp is reached.
Two soldering pins per pole ensure a secure connection on the printed circuit board. All WECO high current terminals are completely pin-compatible to competitor's products.
All plugs are equiped with crossed screw clamps in elevator clamping style to guarantee comfortable fastening with usual screwdrivers and highest clamping security for years.

The series saves the usual auxiliary constructions for larger wire cross sections by a direct contacting on the board.

158-A-111 With this series single terminals can be arbitrarily strung together up to 12 poled blocks with a centre-to-centre spacing of 10.16mm. The intelligent solution with the deeper cable funnels saves assembling time. Upward open, they always permit a free view on the clamping point in the conventional installation situations inside the switch cabinet. |

158-A-211 The higher execution of series 158-A-111 with extended cable funnel offers a still better shock protection. According to DIN VDE 110 (rated impulse voltage 8kV, degree of pollution 3) voltages up to 800V are possible. |

159-A-111 600V UL applications become possible with series 159-A in 12,7mm pitch. With this series the single terminals are seperated from each other with slots, in order to increase the dimension of clearance and creepage distances. |

All types of this series can be mounted side-by-side and are combinable across the series.
Versions with wire entrance vertical to the PCB are available on request.
Applications:
One of the main fields of application is the drive technology. Here, the terminals are preferentially used in frequency converters, which take over the selection of the electric motors. Beyond that, all areas in which strong currents are required, e.g. in power supply units, battery chargers as well as applications in the welding or solar technology are covered.
