General Description Serie 98 The multiple tab/screw connection strips 982-F, 983-F and the bushing terminal strips 982/983-MF and 982/983-ML are based on our 98 series, cf. catalogue A. The designs ...-F are fitted with 4.8 mm tab connectors which are located in star form. A maximum of 6 tab connectors or, alternatively, one screw terminal are possible per pole. The designs ...-MF and -ML are in the form of screw connectors (M3.5 or M4 screws) on the upper side of the connectors; a choice of 2.8 or 4.8 mm tab connectors or soldering tags are possible on the underside. Bushing sockets are also available on request which are pushed over the tab connectors or soldering tags and insulate these against a wall. A mounting socket with holes is then fitted to the outer chambers. The outer chambers can be used simultaneously for fastening our cover caps 982-A/983-A. Naturally, other chambers can also be left free for fastening. The tab connectors of designs ...-F can also be used instead of the screw connectors for these designs. Housings with ?Z? rear panels are also available for the 983 models with screw connectors. As the base is not closed on any of the designs, the terminals strips must be mounted on an insulating surface; for example, our fasting strip BST-983-F can be used for the ...-F designs.
