Series 98

The space of the 98 series from 6.35 to 10 mm, enable in spite of the compact size of the terminal block, large clearance and creepage distances. Depending on the particular application, one or two solder pins per pole are available. A vertical type is also available with the 980-W. The conductor terminal is designed as a screw terminal, whereby the screws and wire clamps represent a combination. The locked square wire clamps are automatically lifted when the screw is slackened for easier connection. With types 983-FS and -FD, a wide selection of 4.8x0.8 mm tabs are also available. All screw-type variants can be provided with shrouding covers. In this case, it is necessary when ordering the terminal blocks to also specify two empty external cavities in addition to the required number of poles, which accordingly increases the length by two spaces.
