To prevent accidental disconnection, plug and header are made to interlock. To prevent accidental interchanging of blocks the headers 970-KA and 971-KS can be coded with the keying pins 97-KPL and 97-KKL both together. These have to be inserted into the keying slots of the header and then correspond with nippers on top of the 971-KRFBS(-DS) moulding. Instead of using the plug 971-KRFBS(-DS), one may alternatively use our 971-FBS(-DS) without the advantage of interlocking and keying. The rear tier pin block row is offset by half a nominal spacing - 2,5 mm (0.10 inch) - with respect to the front row. |
