Series 158/159 Maxilift

The 158-A and 159-A series are especially designed for high voltage and strong currents. The clamping space for solid or stranded wires up to 16 mm² or flexible wires up to 10 mm² is characteristic. Two soldering pins per pole ensure a secure connection to the board. The connection of a large wire cross-section in a heavy current clamp directly on the board saves the usual auxiliary constructions. The application is for power electronics. A particular feature is the drive system with its frequency converters as well as mains adapter and charging units. The 158-A series with 10.16 mm spacing has a lower version suitable for up to 690 Volts and a higher version for up to 800 Volts. The 159-A series with 12.7 mm spacing in both versions is designed for 1.000 Volts and offers in the higher version a deeper cable funnel, which provides increased shock protection. Unrestricted UL certification (UL1059, general industrial, group C) for 300 Volts (158-A) and 600 Volts (159-A) respectively facilitate the approval of devices. Both models are suitable for field wiring applications in accordance with UL508C. All types of these series can be interlocked together.
