DECLARATION

Since July 1st 2006 the RoHS guideline of the European Union named 2002/95 EEC ( PDF) as well as corresponding recycling guidelines (WEEE, PDF) have definitely become effective. The RoHS determination (Restriction of Harzardous Substances) is responsible for the restriction of the use of certain pollutants in electrical and electronic devices,

WECO, as a responsible manufacturer of components for the electrical connection technique, is supplying all products RoHS compliant.

Logistically nothing changes for our customers, our well-known article numbers retained, there is only an appropriate marking shown in the last two places of the article number in order confirmations, delivery documents and on the labels.

Likewise our catalogues and product information on the website will be revised.

WECO Products are marked in two different ways:

GP - WECO "Green Product"
These articles comply with the RoHS regulations and are, in addition, fitted with a high temperature resistant housing.
Solder Heat-Resistance 260°C/10sec

HG - These products comply with the RoHS regulations, but ...
  • ... may contain PVC and are therefore not considered to be a "Green Product".

  • ... may have housings of PA6 material and will be optimised in further steps.

Beyond that we will be happy to clarify possible requirements in the direct dialogue with you.
